Wow! Whiskey in the Woods is such an amazing property. From the abundance of privacy to the smallest detail to make our guests stay a delight, this cabin offers so much!
Outside you will find a large covered deck with ceiling fans and comfortable furniture for nature watching or having a warm cup of coffee. There is a bonfire area as well for that evening spent with your family & friends talking about past memories and making ones for the future. The back deck has a gas BBQ grill for guests to cook burgers or steaks, baked potatoes and veggies!!
When walking in to the cabin, guests will enter the living room area. With comfortable reclining seating for up to 6, the living room is very welcoming. There is a wood burning fireplace as well as a flat screen TV with YouTube TV channels. The kitchen is just off of the living room with dining seating. It is fully equipped with all of the comforts of cooking at home.
The bedrooms at Whiskey in the Woods each have a queen size bed, dressers and plenty of room for relaxing. There is a loft with a sofa sleeper for the kids or extra guests.
IMPORTANT: Out of respect for the holidays and our employees, we do NOT allow ANY check in or outs on Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day
FOR OUR PET FRIENDLY VISITORS. DOGS ARE ONLY ALLOWED ON THE 1ST FLOOR OF THIS PROPERTY.
PETS MUST BE APPROVED BY MANAGEMENT PRIOR TO RESERVATION. We reserve the right to refuse any pet at any time. We would like for you and your family (including the four legged members) to have the best vacation ever and appreciate your willingness to abide by these guidelines.
*We only accept dogs, no cats allowed. We only accept 2 pets per reservation.
*We charge a $70.00 per stay per pet fee which is not refundable.
*Your dog must be on a flea maintenance program. (Like Frontline, Advantage, etc.)
*Your dog must not get on our furniture. If we find pet hair on our furniture upon your departure, you will be charged $10.00 per each quilt/comforter/sofa that must be cleaned to remove dog hair.
*If your dog damages our vacation home in any way, ie, urine on the carpet/floor, chewed furniture/walls/doors or molding, you will be held responsible for the damage repair costs.
*Your dog must be leashed when on the outside of the cabin. This is for the safety of your dog as there may be other animals in the area that could harm your beloved pet.

*3pm - there is NO check-in office, you go straight to the cabin

Common Concerns:
*Road Conditions: Some of our cabins are on steep, narrow, curvy, mountain roads. If you are concerned about road conditions to get to a cabin, please feel free to ask us! None of our cabins require a 4 wheel drive under normal weather conditions but some do in inclement weather.
*TV & WiFi: We do have TV's and WiFi in most all of our cabins. There are times when heavy cloud cover, weather systems, mountains, or trees will cause problems with the signals. We always want our guests to have the comforts they want on vacation, but there are times we cannot control this problem.
*Pests & Wildlife: Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble, we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt or approach any wildlife. This is their home and we are the visitors.
Cancellation Policy:
*$50 cancellation fee
*Before 30 days - you will get all of your money back (-$50)
*Within 30 days - whatever dates we can rebook, this is the amount that we will refund back (-$50). Example: if you had 5 nights & we rebooked 4 nights = you will be refunded 4 night+tax+cleaning fee

Whiskey in the Woods was the perfect place for our family visit to the Smokies. The cabin is very clean and is spacious but cozy and the layout was perfect for four adults and a very young baby. The kitchen is very well equipped for cooking which we appreciated. The location is close to Cades Cove and Elkmont area where we enjoyed some lovely walks, and yet the cabin is in a very quiet pretty area. We would definitely stay here again on a future visit. We loved “Whiskey in the Woods”! We prefer staying in cabins and have stayed at several over the years, including 3 times with smoky cabins.com. This cabin is definitely one of our favorites. It is very cozy and fully stocked with everything needed. The covered porch with comfortable furniture was a bonus. We enjoyed the Spring weather and sitting out there during the rainstorms. The drive is steep and we did use our 4-wheel drive. The rest of the drive was very manageable. 100% recommend this cabin and smoky cabins.com -

Absolute perfection. This cabin has it all. Excellent wi-fi, beautifully stocked kitchen, privacy, privacy, privacy. Comfy beds. Nice big fireplace. Great covered grill so even in the rain you can cook outside. The front porch was the most relaxing place to be. Hubby and I actually sat outside several mornings and ate breakfast. Yes, the drive is a little steep but very manageable. Loved the set-up of the cabin especially only having two steps at the back door making loading and unloading a breeze. Smoky Cabins is a great company to use for your vacation needs as they are always quick to respond to any questions or issues and just an all around pleasure to work with. Contactless check-in process with key code entry to the cabin an additional plus. If in doubt as to which cabin to rent, Cathy is a wonderful host and will gladly guide you through which cabin best suits your needs. You will never be disappointed using Smoky Cabin for your vacation escape. -
