  Love this house! Love the location! The house is set up to be VERY comfortable and is decorated VERY nicely. The housekeeping crew was still there working and the owner was there to coordinate the delivery of a very nice dining table. They invited us to go ahead and come inside but we needed to get breakfast items. They gave us directions to a nearby store and completed their tasks prior to our return. We treated our daughter to this trip in celebration of her completing her radiation treatments. She was able to rest and relax mostly on that wonderful back porch. We enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to go again.

  The shower was a bit cramped, but we made it work for us. We loved everything else about the place. The hot tub was fabulous, and the cabin was clean. The location was perfect! We would stay there again.

  The Getaway on Little River was fantastic! Two couples stayed for four days. We enjoyed a dip in the river (although access is difficult), nightly outdoor fires in the beautiful stone fireplace, cooking on the gas grill, and relaxing in the hot tub on the back deck. The glider and Adirondack chairs on the back deck provided a complete escape to nature, where you could watch ducks and otters and listen to the river - there is no better place for morning coffee! The cabin was well-appointed with comfortable beds, linens in good condition, and electric reclining sofas. The fridge had an ice-maker, and everything was very clean upon our arrival. I would not hesitate to book this cabin again!

  We absolutely LOVED this cabin! Not only was the cabin beautiful and a perfect fit for our family, the location was stunning and secluded. It felt like our own little paradise for the week! The cabin was equipped and we really appreciated being able to cook and wash laundry during our stay. We are definitely coming back again!

I’ve been visiting the Smokies for 35 years and since my favorite cabin was sold, I’ve been looking for my next favorite spot and I think I found it here.

  Wonderful cabin just as the pictures show. Clean and had plenty of supplies. Kitchen was fully furnished. Big bedrooms with TVs. One TV in the upstairs bedroom did not work unless you subscribed to or had an account with a network. River is a little hard to get into from the bank but doable. We had a good time and will book again. The hosts were very helpful in booking and when we needed to contact them.

  This cabin was in a great location to the wedding venue and it was so clean and just perfect for our situation. We loved the river view from the back and it had plenty of space in the cabin and outside for everyone especially our granddaughters to play and run around. Thank you for making the weekend so enjoyable with having everything we needed at the cabin. I also appreciate you allowing my husband and I to get in early since we were bringing all the food, drinks and stuff for our children and their families since we all were traveling from different places. With the unbelievable view of the river and the amount of wildlife we witnessed my family agrees this was our best trip to the smokies yet, and we have been vacationing there for several years.   We will be back! This is a great location away from the road/town with the peaceful river flowing right out back. It is a bit hard to get into. (I fell in the first day, we had a good laugh about it!) Easy access to the Smoky Mountains about 15 min away. Place was clean and plenty of supplies. We stayed with 4 adults and 2 kids. My in-laws used the downstairs bedroom and couch was comfortable to sleep on. All bedrooms have a private bath which was also nice. Overall we loved the place and are already looking talking about returning next year.

  We enjoy staying in the cabins offered. River Bend cabin was a little closer to the RV parks than expected and the noise carried over to the patio area, making it not so peaceful to enjoy the river sounds. Future rentals we will stick to cabins away from the RV parks.

  We really loved the cabin. It was the perfect size for 2 of us for a few nights. We loved having both of the tubs, and having a larger than hotel sized refrigerator. The bathroom door never closed properly though, and I could definitely feel the bumps in the floor, but I didn’t consider them a safety hazard. We loved having the smart TV so we could cast some movies. Overall, we would come back if we came back to the area.

  Loved the River Bend cabin. Stayed 4 nights, August 2020. Highly recommend. Charming woodsy romantic cabin overlooking the Little River, Townsend, TN. Great for watching the tubers tube by during the day. Sunlight through the trees, sparkling on the water, is truly delightful. Beautiful trees. Loved listening to the river every morning and evening. Very peaceful. Quaint. Sweet cabin for two to enjoy. Has everything you want and need. Comfy bed. Kitchen equipped, has everything you need to cook, bake. Garden tub. Hot tub. Fire pit. Charcoal grill. Ice cold AC for summer visitors. I'm from Florida, so cold AC is a must!. TV. The fridge a little dated, but is cold. Even the bathroom is cute! Coming back again, soon, end of August 2021 soon! Staying at another Smoky Cabins rental. Staying at the Laurelwood cabin this time. Something a little bigger, different. Pool access included. Will miss being on the river though, I think. Will see. All the Smoky Cabins look inviting, one cabin even has a pool table. Each unique, special. Management is very receptive, prompt, courteous and accommodating. Grade: A+ and 5 ***** STARS! Thank you! BB

  Wonderful 3 day stay at this cabin. Perfectly situated for quick entrance into Smokey Mountains National Park. Very well appointed and comfortable. Deck with the firepit was great for hanging out in the evenings. Management was quick to respond to the one issue we had with the grill. Highly recommended. We will come back again. Wonderful 40th anniversary weekend.

  Cabin is great! We had an awesome time! The only negatives I can see is there is no dishwasher, no washer and dryer and the shower is really, really small. Overall a great experience though!

  We had a wonderful honeymoon at this quaint little cabin! Great deck overlooking the river with a fire pit, gas grill and hot tub (super clean) what is not to love oh and it gets better with a huge tv that you can watch from the couch or the amazing comfortable bed! Huge jetted tub inside (also super clean) & cozy kitchen with everything you need should you want to cook! Everything thing is quality from the dishes and cookware to the amazing thick comfy towels! Thank you Keith & Cathy for a wonderful stay! We will be back!

  The quaint cabin was smaller than expected but we loved sitting on the deck enjoying the surroundings and the sound of the water below us. The cabin had everything we needed and for the most part was clean. The shower was way to small for my husband who is 6'4" and weighs about 220 so we'll probably not rent this one again because of the shower size.

  We loved everything about Riverbend. The cabin was beautifully decorated and really felt like home. It was so quiet, at night, the only sounds you heard were the rushing water of the river, and a whippoorwill who decided to sing for us.

  Nice little cabin. The outside needs a little TLC but the inside is spotless and cozy. The only thing is the pictures show stairs leading to the water but they are really 2 houses down. Not a big deal but we had to hunt for them.

  My wife and I spent our 22nd anniversary here. It was awesome. We stayed 3 nights, no other guests in the other cabins so it was super quiet. The cabin had everything we needed. We plan to return.

  Beautiful cabin with a wonderful view of Little River from the back deck. Lots of wildlife, including chipmunks and a river otter playing on the boulders right below us. There is no river access at the cabin, just an at-your-own-risk steep path below the deck that is impassible for the last 15 feet so we didn’t risk it because we forgot our rappelling gear ;). We walked down to Little Arrow campground to access the riverfront and do some exploring. Loved having the fire pit going every night and relaxing in the hot tub. Having rocking chairs would have made it spectacular but we will bring some folding ones next time. The KOA was mostly quiet and not a bother at all. The cabin was the perfect size for the two of us for a week. The floor had a lot of character, lol. If you plan to stay in the fall or winter, bring a couple of throw blankets to snuggle under on the couch or deck. The kitchen was nicely stocked with dishes, even had some salt/pepper, sugar, syrup, and coffee filters. We bought firewood in town and found plenty of twigs lying around. The tree in front of the cabin has a large fat lighter limb joint (nature’s kerosene) left laying there from a recent trimming. I used a few chips from that to start fires in the fire pit. The cabins around us were empty most of the week and it was very peaceful. We hiked 15 miles of trails in the park during our 6-day stay here - beautiful country!

  This was a great little cabin -- spotlessly clean, incredibly cozy, and with everything I needed and wanted. The management has really listened to earlier reviews -- there's now a great parking area out front. I enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, indoor jacuzzi, and fire pit, but mostly just spent my time sitting on the back deck listening to the river (and yes, you can hear campers across the river and folks tubing, but it's not overly loud, and the trees give great privacy). I had one maintenance issue but the managers were proactive in contacting me, and I appreciate that they're readily available for anything you need. I look forward to coming back here again someday!

  Wow what a fantastic cabin, great quiet location. The cabin is beautiful, beautifully furnished, plenty of utensils to enable self catering. Really good internet,. Wee didn’t need to use the fire but it looked great and of course a good looking hot tub. River view was stunning, supermarkets and restaurants within a 10 minute drive, everything you could need. One small improvement would be to include a set of drawers for clothes for those of us staying for longer periods. We would definitely return.

  Nice cozy cabin for two. High view of the river and a nice back deck and hot tub.our suggestion to make this a 5 star stay would be to have a little place (closet or chest) to unpack your suitcases. Huge tv and nice gas fireplace.

  Great little cabin. We had a wonderful time. The cabin was very clean and efficient. Everything was just right for a two person getaway. We really enjoyed sitting by the fire of a evening and listening to the river just below us. It rained one night that we were there, and it was so relaxing to listen to it on the metal roof. Cathy Moore was very pleasant and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a few days of relaxation.

  Romantic cabin, off the beaten path but close enough to Gatlingberg, Cherokee, Pigeon Forge, Cades Cove. Beautiful cabin enjoyed our stay, it was everything we could possibly want for a mountain getaway. Highly recommend it and we would book this cabin again, thank you.

  We absolutely loved our stay here at this cabin. It was the perfect size for the 2 of us, and had everything we could have wanted. The deck overlooking the river was a huge bonus and we spent a lot of evenings and mornings just watching the river. We didn't even mind the campground across the river -- another reviewer mentioned it but we are campers ourselves so we didn't mind at all. Even the people on tubes weren't a bother -- most were just having fun, not out to make noise or cause any problems. The only issue we had with this quaint little cabin was the driveway, or lack thereof. It rained every afternoon while we were there and by the time we left to head home, there was a huge puddle of mud across the whole yard. There was no way around it. A little gravel would go a long way to making this a 5 star review! Oh, and some better back deck patio furniture would be nice, but we really enjoyed the cabin regardless!

  Despite mother nature's winter bomb cyclone cold and ice, it was a fabulous location and not too far off the highway and up treacherous mountains. Perfectly located near groceries and the Townsend entrance to the national Park. Clean, quiet, cozy! Felt very safe and enjoyed amazing shooting stars and moonlit nights. Braved the hot tub at 22' outside. 3 king brs with their own bathrooms were perfect! Will come back to enjoy the spring/summer/fall to enjoy the outdoor areas. It was perfect for us! We loved that cabin like our own, and having it decorated for Christmas was spectacular!

  I really hate to leave a good review for fear the cabin won’t be available the next time we book, but this place was perfect for us! Nearly every place we considered staying had at least one room with twin or bunk beds. Not this one! Three king sized beds and three full baths with a half bath downstairs couldn’t be a better setup for us. The place was spacious and super clean, and the views were awesome! We absolutely loved listening to the river outside our windows at night. We even spotted a large bobcat in the caves next to the driveway. The location of the cabin is close to Cades Cove which was nearly a daily trip for us. We will definitely be booking this cabin again in the future.

  This is the perfect spot, secluded yet close to main roads. The deck and patio provide perfect views of Little River and lots of nature. We really enjoyed our time at Getaway on Little River. The only thing that could make it better is mattress toppers on all the beds….it was like sleeping on a rock.

  Beautiful cabin! Beautiful location! We trailered our motorcycles down then road all around TN & NC. So many fun roads and amazing scenery. Ending the day with a soak in the hot tub by the river was just perfect! We loved that each room had a king bed and it’s own bathroom. Kitchen had all we needed. The deck out back is fabulous! Our only suggestions would be mattress toppers ti make the beds more comfy, and affix the hot tub steps to the deck so they don’t slide as you step out.

  This year makes our fifth stay at this cabin. Great location with fishing and swimming steps away from the house. We bring our kayaks and put in a few miles up river and float back to the house. Very convenient. Happy to find the deck upgraded and all the brush cleared from the river bank and beside the house. Makes setting on the back deck and watching the river even more enjoyable than it already was. All things we had talked about last year. We love this place and plan our yearly trip to the smokies around its availability.

  The beds upstairs were uncomfortable, a mattress topper may be a good idea. Other than that we had a fantastic stay. We have been coming to the mountains for years and years. This is the only cabin that we are planning on revisiting! VERY easy to get to. No crazy mountain road. It’s on a dead end road, so pretty secluded. There is one neighbor, but we didn’t even see them outside. The view of the little river was great along with the nice Mountain View outback. The noise of the river was very relaxing while sitting on the deck. It was a clean cabin and the owners are very responsive to messages if you need anything. We had a fantastic trip with two other couples !

  Management Response: We will look in to the upstairs mattresses. Mattress satisfaction is so subjective that it's hard to make everyone totally comfortable but if they need attention, we will take care of it. Thank you!!

  This place is amazing! We have a family of six and this felt more like home than anywhere we have ever stayed before. The views. The space. Everything! It’s like there was something for all of us. Close enough to go places such as the Tuckaleechee Caverns and not too far from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. (A little more than 40 minutes but we enjoyed being away from the hustle bustle of it all). We will be staying here again in the near future.

  We really enjoyed the cabin. Plenty of space for our family with teenagers to spread out. Close to Townsend and the Park, and also close enough to Maryville to drive in and pick up dinner. There were minor issues with houskeeping upon arrival, but staff did respond promptly upon notification to clean some of the floors.

  This place was amazing...all bedrooms had a bath, plus a half bath, super clean, well thought out, the outside area was just fabulous, we spent a lot of time on the covered deck watching the geese and the sound of the river was so relaxing, the outside fireplace was so very nice, nice hot tub.   This cabin is wonderful! The pictures online do not do it justice. It was super clean and roomy. There are 3 good size bedrooms each with it's own nice bathroom. The kitchen was large, clean, and had everything we needed. The outdoor space was incredible- unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy it this time. We will definitely be back in warmer weather. The rental company was easy to work with. We received our door code in advance and had no trouble with it. They also emailed detailed directions to the cabin which was nice.

  The cabin was great! The deck on back was our favorite place to gather and listen to the river run. We enjoyed watching a variety of wildlife on the water, geese, ducks and even an eagle visited daily! The Christmas decorations added a special feel and made the entire experience feel like home.

  Cabin was perfect. My husband and son went fly fishing and explored the cave. My whole immediate family rented from Smoky Cabins (3 cabins in total) and we were all within 15 minutes of each other. We had Thanksgiving at this cabin and with all the space we practiced social distancing successfully. My son and in-laws stayed upstairs me and my husband were on the bottom floor and none of us could hear each other when we were moving around. This is the perfect place to stay it really was.

  We loved our stay at "The Getaway"! Very clean, quiet and a beautiful setting on the river. We had a small issue with sinks in two bathrooms but was addressed right away when we reported it. Neither the ice maker in the fridge or the separate one was working but that was just a small inconvenience. Gorgeous property and very comfortable.

  This cabin is so nice. We love it and have been staying there for 8 years. My last stay was October 16th & 17th. I was so surprised the cabin was so much cleaner than we have seen it over the years. The last time we stayed the floors were so sticky your feet would stick to the floor. Someone came out immediately and cleaned the floors. It was so nice to come into a clean house. We have already booked the cabin for Christmas. Looking forward to staying again.

  Loved the Cabin, the location, the river in the back. It was so peaceful and serene. Definitely spent a lot of time breathing in some fresh air on the porch throughout various times of the day. The house is very spacious. All 3 rooms have King beds, each room has its own full bathroom with a half bathroom downstairs. Perfect layout and very comfortable! Jacuzzi was clean and ready for guests! Definitely want to return in the Summer!

  Great Cabin on Little River! Easy to get to but still a quiet spot with few other cabins near by. Great River access. Unfortunately weather did not allow for great fishing but I imagine it’s a great spot for smallmouth and trout at the right time of year. Hope to get back soon with better weather and some fishing in the Smokies.
