  It was a relaxing place to stay. I didn't realize we would need an all-terrain vehicle if it's wet so we had to hike to our cabin the first two nights. But overall it was a nice experience.

  We absolutely loved the cabin. It was very clean well equipped with everything we needed. I loved the home feel I felt while staying there. It coziness with wood burning fireplace was my favorite part. We grilled out and enjoyed the hot tub. We will definitely stay again. Thank you for the very clean well kept cabin!! The Roberts

  This cabin was absolutely amazing!!! Perfect size for what we were looking for. Huge comfortable bed. Well stocked kitchen. Jacuzzi tub and hot tub, front porch swing, grill...perfect romantic getaway! We absolutely cannot wait to be back. **NOTE** They tell you, the road is STEEP. HEED THIS WARNING. I thought "Oh, we aren't going in the winter, no problem". Our 2WD car could not make it up the first night because the road was wet. We made it almost up and had to carry our stuff the rest of the way, and park at the bottom (.25 miles) and walk up. There was another vehicle that had to do the same thing. The next day after the road had dried, we could drive to the cabin. Do not let this deter you, because it is the perfect romantic getaway, but drive 4WD/AWD if you have it, even if you don't think you'll need it,

  Spent the weekend in the cabin and had a great time. Overall experience was great. Cabin was clean and supplied with what we needed. We were a little disappointed in the shower. We are both over 6’ y’all and found it uncomfortable to shower comfortably. This would not stop us from booking with Smoky Cabins again. We also came back one afternoon to find no water. We called the office and within a half hour the problem was resolved. The drive up to cabin is very steep as all the reviews described. Be prepared by having a smaller four wheel drive vehicle. Our truck is a Tacoma and we had just enough room to make the turn and get in and out of drive.

  We loved it. It was perfect for a couple’s getaway. It was exactly as advertised. Very clean and inviting. Check in and out were super easy and I appreciated all the informative emails I received before and during our stay. The fireplace provided us with cozy evenings.

  Everything was as good or better than described on website. Clean, quaint, modern, yet rustic with a beautiful view. Hot tub was ready when we arrived, very nice Vizio TV with Comcast along with a Sony blue-ray that is VUDU, HULU, and Netflix ready, fireplace was clean and ready for a raging fire, wifi was easily connected and the king size bed was comfy and inviting. No joke TAKE A 4X4 you won't make it in a 2 wheel drive!!! There are 17 steps to get to the deck but once you're there you are truly in paradise.

  We really enjoyed our stay at Smoky's Paradise! The cabin was spacious for 2 people and the kitchen and bathroom were very well stocked with supplies and utensils! There is no clear view of the mountains from the cabin as there are many trees in front of the porch area but we enjoyed the distance from other cabins and the peaceful setting. The check in and out procedures were simple and clear although we were not able to give the courteous arrival call upon check in due to a lack of cell phone service at the cabin. Despite clear weather, the drive to the cabin was difficult for my Pontiac Vibe which sits relatively low to the road. The couches and bed were extremely comfortable. The kitchen area is small to work in but we were able to cook almost all our meals in which we were very grateful for. We had a very pleasant experience and would recommend to others.

  The cabin is just the place you feel you want to be when you are in the mountains. It's very homey and cozy. We had everything we needed and more. It was a great home base for all of our hikes.

  It was better in person then the pictures showed. The cabin was beautiful and peaceful. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay at, can't wait to come back with the rest of the family. We had no issues locating the place, we were able to get our code and get right into the cabin. Thank you!

  Again we loved our stay, second time using smoky cabins and our first time in Smoky’s Paradise. Will be using them again. The cabin and time we spent in it was relaxing and beautiful.

  Cabin was very nice, but for us, the shower was too small. The drives have steep angles, but are manageable when dry. Four wheel drive helps when they are wet or leaf covered. Staff did a great job of leaf removal on the roads when needed. Plus the texture left on the road surface aids in traction. The cabins are arranged in such a way that privacy is very good. The only real thing missing in this cabin is a good mountain view.

  Such a comfortable cabin. Easy access in and out the cabin door. The roads up were sharp and steep but it made it more fun. Netflix was on the TV so we enjoyed some good movies next to the fire (lots of twigs and gulf gas station has 0.99 fire starters). Squirrels do live ontop of the cabin but they tend to start running around 7am so it's a good alarm clock. Bring a makeup mirror if your into that!

  We enjoyed the cabin. Clean and comfortable. I should have researched the web site better. Did not expect only one entrance with 19 steps. I recently had a partial knee replacement and the stairs were a challenge. Would have liked a washer and dryer.

  Management Response: The photo of the cabin clearly shows the parking space and steps to enter the cabin. I'm so sorry that you had a rough time getting in and out.

  Very easy reservation process. Cabin was easy to find and very clean. Loved the fact it was close to Cades Cove where we love to spend time. Also found a wonderful little restaurant that we loved, Trailhead Steak and Trout House.

  We came here for our honeymoon and truly enjoyed our stay at Smoky’s Paradise! Our only real complaint with this cabin was the size of the shower. The shower in this cabin is TINY! But, other than that everything was very enjoyable.

  We enjoyed our stay at Smokey’s Paradise! The cabin was well equipped and quiet. A few prayers were said on our way up to the cabin. These flatlanders didn’t know if our car would make it. Four-wheel drive is wonderful! Thanks for the fantastic vacation cabin!!

  Smoky's Paradise was just that, Paradise! We came for a mountain getaway and were not disappointed. The cabin was cozy and homey and had all the amenities of home. We really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back!

  Our experience with Smoky Mtn Cabins was great. Everything was as we expected , if not better. Cabin was very clean and inviting. Management kept us appraised of power issues in area and of freezing weather alerts. Will definitely plan on a stay with them again.

  Beautiful cabin and inside just as shown. Equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Close to the things we enjoy: Hiking and biking in Cades Cove. Just not a fan of the drive up the mountain to get there. Large vehicle and little room to maneuver for parking-but if you enjoy an adventure, go for it.

  We enjoyed ourselves. The only thing I would stress is the trek to get to the cabin. The hills are quite steep. Oh, and the #153 isn't visible on the cabin, only the name. Overall, if I can get the nerve to do it again, I will!!

  Loved this cabin! Very up to date and nicely decorated. Loved the jacuzzi tub and hot tub. Only downside to this cabin is the steep road. We had a 4WD vehicle and still slid trying to get back down the hills when the road was wet. Otherwise great little cabin with everything you need for a lovely stay.

  We stayed July 20 - 25 and absolutely loved it. I spent many hours researching cabins and ultimately landed on this one because it was located in Townsend and recently updated. As others mentioned, the road is VERY steep. I saw the reviews but still wasn’t anticipating how steep it would be. My Subaru did just fine even with it raining and the roads being slick. They have everything you need to cook and I wish I’d brought less kitchen items/utensils.

  Thank you for the wonderful stay!! The Wildwood cabin was very clean and comfortable! We love the smoky mountains and prefer to stay in the "peaceful side" Townsend, in fact this is the 3rd time we have rented a cabin from Smoky Cabins Vacation rentals! The cabins are always clean and very nice. Our 1st stay the driveway intimidated us Ohio flatlanders ( Lol) but now we come up that 1st hill and say to each other " OK here we go!" Our 2nd stay on our way there we had a screw puncture our tire and when we called the owners to ask for recommendations to have the tire repaired they were very helpful. This stay was fun and relaxing...we tubed the Little River and rented a slingshot to do the Tail of the Dragon!! All in all a great vacation!!

  Loved this quaint cabin! Walking up the stairs to get to the living area gave a super private feel. The layout and the decor in this cabin is well put together and super relaxing! Note to those looking to rent: be sure you are comfortable with driving up and down steep roads and that you’re comfortable backing up your vehicle in tight spaces (I have a Honda CRV and had to do a multiple point turnaround to back my vehicle into the parking spot so larger vehicles may be difficult). Also, the shower is smaller than a typical square shower so if you don’t like tight spaces this might not be good for you.
