  This cabin is perfect! Extremely cozy and maintained. Extremely clean when we arrived and stocked with everything we needed. This is our second cabin to stay in with SmokyCabins , three years apart and I am just as happy now as we were three years ago! Highest recommend to anyone! Prices and location can’t be beat! The people of Townsend were wonderful as well!

  We had a wonderful stay and the cabin was great for our family! This was a special trip for us. My brother in law passed away in October, he wanted so badly to make one more trip to the mountains but was unable to. His mom had never been so we brought her this trip, we were able to reminisce and our thoughts were of him. It was just a great experience!

  We came with large group. Stayed in 3 of the cabins. Worked really well for all to be close. Cabin is small but has beautiful view of mountains.Kitchen is really small but had everything we needed

  we love visiting Townsend every year; this is our second year using Smoky Cabins. They have beautiful cabins, great deal on getting free night when you book 6 nights! Laurel Ridge was a little small for the 3 of us, but the deck was awesome! Parking was scary; I had a 5x8 trailer (camper)~wasn’t prepared for circle driveway with steep down & upslope, but it worked out well. Cabins are always clean and well-stocked. Management responds quickly for any needs. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because the decor, including carpet was way too dark! But, as always, we enjoyed our stay!

  The cabin was very nice and clean me and my friends all had an amazing time. We love how close it was to the park. The management was amazing it wasted no time helping us when we called about the hot tube being dirty they came out the very next morning and cleaned it for us. I will definitely book this cabin again in the summer when we come back.

  Cabin was just as described. Beds were very comfortable after a long day hiking. Cabin was the perfect size, well supplied, and in a very convenient location to Cades Cove. We had a very nice stay and would definitely stay again if in the area.

  Our time at the cabin was awesome it was my first time staying in Tennessee the cabin is really cozy and located in a good area and it Was so peaceful. The first night our electricity was out all night but it’s ok we came prepared and had candles although we didn’t have any games the whole weekend was great I would definitely return. Thanks for the experience

  Great stay! Enjoyed the cabin and the cleanliness as well as the thought of what a guest might need. Also, loved all the bear memorabilia and actually saw a bear on the porch during our stay.

  Cabin was clean and well stocked. We did not expect to be able to hear the road noisy at the cabin as we were closer than expected.

  Management Response: It is easier to hear the road noise out on the deck in the winter months with no leaves on the trees. It is definitely quieter when mother nature provides natural insulation!!

  I have not stayed here yet. My trip is not until April however if the cabin is anywhere as nice as Cathy they young lady that took my reservations they stay would be all worth it. Great customer service.

  Our stay started off with a toilet that wouldn’t flush. I called the office number minutes after arriving and they promptly sent out two people to try and correct the issue. The service was great and the cabin was clean. We had a wonderful weekend without another issue. I will stay with them again and enjoy the mountains.

  We stayed 7 nights. We had 2 adults and 2 kids and had plenty of room.The cabin was clean and comfortable. We spent most of our time while at the cabin on the huge deck that has a nice view. The kitchen area is very small and besides the fridge there is no storage for food. The beds are very comfortable The bathroom is small, plenty of really really hot water and water pressure is great. There is a washer and dryer but it's located under the cabin. The steps to the laundry are fine but the pavers could use some work. The Wi-Fi and TV work fine. 2 things I wish I would have packed, a cookie sheet and a laundry basket.

  The view was amazing and it really set the mood for the whole trip. It was beautiful seeing the sun rise and go down. The deck is a perfect size and the hot tub faces the mountains. It was clean and ready to get in when we got there. The cabin was a great size and had a pull out couch as well. They had the basic amenities to get us started the first day other than obviously food etc. It was a wonderful trip thanks to the staff that got our cabin ready, the front desk that helped us through the process when we booked. The toilet did keep backing up and wouldn’t flush, but maintenance came out and fixed it and it started working good the second time. It was very quiet and peaceful, we couldn’t hear any other neighbors and it’s tucked back in the woods and surrounded by trees with a clear path to the mountains. This is a perfect place to stay as it’s about an hour from Gatlinburg and 45 minutes from Pigeon Forge. Not a lot of traffic here and cute diners and shops around. It was a pleasure staying here.

  Cute quaint cabin. The kitchen is tiny, but just enough to make quick breakfasts, sandwiches for a picnic lunch and simple meals after a day in the park. The furniture although cute and woodsy, can use an update but don’t let that hold you back because you will spend most of your time on the awesome huge deck! We ate all our meals on the deck then hopped in the hot tub which was great! Beds are comfy and bedrooms are a perfect size. Cabin is a bit small if staying for more than a few nights and plan to be indoors rather than on the deck, but otherwise I would highly recommend. One downfall is you can definitely hear street noise and see warehouse type buildings, but just look up and focus on the beautiful mountains and the amazing view!

  We enjoyed our stay at Laurel Ridge cabin near Townsend. The beds were comfortable, the cabin was clean and cozy. The deck and view are great. We would definitely stay again.

  Was a very nice weekend get away . The cabin was great had everything you would need for few days stay... Only draw back was road noise while sitting on the deck. Why I give it 4 stars.

  Everything was great! The view was gorgeous, the rooms were all comfortable, kids loved the hot tub. We had no issues once we figured out where exactly where to put the trash. We called the office and we got it taken care of. We will definitely use this company in the future.

  Its a quaint little cabin, very small but we werent in it much...the beds were comfortable and the water for the shower got hot quick which was a pleasant surprise. The only downsides were the one car road going to the cabin & it had a smoky smell when we arrived, so we had to open up windows to air it out. You could hear car noise below but it wasnt too bad. The view from the balcony was very nice.

  This is the second year I've chosen Smoky Cabins and I have loved each experience. The places are quaint, cozy, and a comfortable stay in the mountains to relax. I love the fact you offer wood-burning fireplace options and you always provide detailed instructions and information to make sure the stay is a success. The Thanksgiving decoration were a wonderful touch for our stay over the Thanksgiving holiday! I will continue to use you all each year. Thanks so much for being such wonderful hosts!

  This is the third time we've stayed with Smoky Cabins, each time the experience has been great. Laurel Ridge was very nice, the road going in was not as steep as some of the other cabins. We saw 2 bear in the woods beside the cabin which was cool. The cabin was clean and cozy, well stocked with everything that was needed. We look forward to staying with Smoky Cabins again.

  Laurel Ridge is a Beautifully clean Cabin View is 2nd too none Absolutely treasure and love watching sun come up from the couch looking out the large 3 sided window , drinking coffee and seeing the mountain as the clouds lift . Tennessee always my home we live a couple hours away ,but Townsend is always our vacation, because we love peace and tranquillity, a friend of ours says the ocean makes her feel close to God, but Townsend and the mountains that we look out and see from the couch at Laurel Ridge & the hot tub , the Porch swing and the rockers where you can view the mountains from all of them and the kitchen window,this is one thing that make us feel close to our Creator , who created these beautiful mountains, and wildlife like the majestic Black bears and hearing the birds and the whipperwill ,that we hear each time we come . As always we’ve stayed with smoky Cabins Over 20 years , never had a bad experience, Love Laurel Ridge we have stayed there the last several years , now our favorite cabin ,loved the bear and yearling that entertained us about 2 hours, so gentle ,if they got too close , my husband yelled clapped hands loud and they backed off . We loved the new updated kitchen Thank you Keith and Cathy for being wonderful host these 20 years

  Laurel Ridge is just as quaint and relaxing as it was the first time we stayed 8 years ago. Perfect for a couple or a small family. The view from the deck is inspiring. Booking and stay in general were easy, as it always is with Smoky Cabins. We have enjoyed staying with Smoky Cabins the last 11 years, and this time was no exception.

  Cabin was very clean and close to the national park and several other activities and attractions. The host was helpful and answered questions promptly. The cabin was just big enough for our group of 5, but we spent most of our time outdoors. The of the mountains view from the deck is fantastic. We would stay here again if we come back to the area.

  The cabin was perfect for my needs. I was there for a long weekend and place was clean and orderly. I think the wood fireplace in the cabin was wonderful. The view was outstanding. It was nice to be staying away fron the Gatlinburg side.

  My husband & I stayed here 3 nights. The view is beautiful and location is good. The cabin was a good size for us and we appreciated being able to watch football on the tv with what was setup for streaming and enjoyed the hot tub. Road noise was a factor during the daytime if on the back porch BUT I’m sure some of that was due to it being jeep week in town so lots of traffic. We very much enjoyed our stay.

  I love this cabin! The view is wonderful!! The comfortable deck with Rocking chairs, porch swing and a large hot Tub!! It’s very cozy! They have put all the special touches to make you comfortable and the decor has special seasonal touches too! I have rented with Smoky Cabins and they go beyond to make sure you have your visit be the BEST❣️ We will come back

  We absolutely love this cabin. We travel to the Smokys every year for 13 years now. We've stayed at this cabin atleast 4 times now (all other stays with same company). This cabin is small but has everything we need- fireplace, huge deck with amazing view, somewhat secluded. ALWAYS clean cabins and great service. You can't go wrong renting from Smoky Cabins!!

  Cabin was very nice, views were absolutely beautiful, we enjoyed our stay! We came across this company years ago and rented river escape off of them, and this is the first year we didn’t rent that cabin for at least part of our trip, we have only used Smoky Cabins since 2018 and absolutely love renting from them, they always stay in top of everything, and make sure the cabins are clean and comfortable!

  Laurel Ridge is a very quaint cabin. The back deck overlooks a beautiful view of the mountains, which we enjoyed, especially in the evenings and the mornings! There were times when the traffic below us was a little loud, but it didn’t create a huge issue for us
